It has got to be my sleeping schedule. A typical human stays awake for about 16 hours, and sleeps for 8 hours. I, however am a bit different . I wake up about 7 AM, but by the time 10 PM comes around, I am wide awake, and still ready to keep going. If I stayed awake, I really wouldn't get tired until about 6 or 7 AM the next day. Then, if I slept as much as I needed to until I woke up on my own, it would be about 12 hours...so there you have it. An earthly day is 24 hours, but my sleeping schedule is based on a 36 hour day. Different planets have different rotational speeds, and thus it's inhabitants have different sleep timing!

I'm exactly the same way but I don't think it's because I'm from a different planet, it's insomnia.

staying up that late is very unhealthy, do you think maybe you just have trouble sleeping. do you have AD/HD?
usually i take a 3mg pill of melatonin every night around 6 or 7 pm. i like your idea of "being from mars" or jupiter or something! but unfortunetaly unlikely

My circadian rhythm is out of wack with planet earth to. I would guess that might mean aspies were not farmers and were more likely hunters. I think they say the same for those with ADHD (which I have).

My sleeping schedule is pretty much exactly how you described yours, although I do go through periods (usually when I'm in good spirits) where I fall asleep within an hour of going to bed consistently, and periods like now where I'll be lucky to fall asleep within four hours of going to bed. I'm starting to notice though that these periods seem to be almost seasonal.
