When I talk people think I'm weird, I also can't make small talk and I'm no good at thinking about what topics I should speak about.
I can't even ask a shop keeper how much something is without being embarrassed...

People always say my behaviour is odd...
That I never smile...
Or that they don't get why I prefer to sit in my room...

When I was on my way back home from thai boxing... A guy shouted to me: "Smile Bro!"
Because apparently I walk around with a blank expression.

I am also about to go to college this year for the third time and I'm worried about making totally new friends...

Is there any way whatsoever to just approach people and be myself and make new friends? lol
I hate approaching people! I never approach anyone first and I just sit in the corner of class and don't talk...

People approached me last year and the year before though...

I remember when I first went to college. I was 18 and went to a school halfway across the country.
To say I was alone was the understatement of the century.
I did find people to hang out with, none of whom were in my classes.
It was the beginning of punk in the Midwest so I made friends with punkers.
It was also a bleak and depressing time. I'm sure if I was introduced to drugs back then I'd be dead by now.
Of course, I didn't know anything about Asperger's back then.
I think today's generation should be better equipped for their future because so much is now known about this esoteric condition.
Hopefully there are Autism or Asperger's groups on campus, especially to help those who are prone to depression.
I'm still odd and still find it difficult to make small talk. C'est la vie.

The college I go to there are none...
You don't even get any help or support...

In fact the college I am going back to is the exact same college where the teacher stood right in front of me put her face right in my face and started shouting and screaming: "LOOK INTO MY EYES NOW!"

I'm doing a different course now though... so hopefully I won't get a tutor like that...
I also liked my old class... and found a very good friend who has adhd...

I have had adults yelling at me like this my whole life. "Just deal with it." they snapped when I told them it hurt.

If you live in the United States, the behavior you describe is specifically forbidden by the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you even mention that to your professor, I bet he or she will start apologizing very fast.

You sound exactly like me. I also hate going to stores and shops at all unless it's absolutely necessary. I also hate having to ask a store employee for help finding an item. People tend to always think I'm mad based off the way my normal expression looks. Some people question the way I act.

I've been lucky in that regard. I don't speak unless spoken to but I at least have made one friendship that I haven't messed up (yet) along with two good friendships that I screwed up very badly. They all started with the person approaching me. Unfortunately, my only friend is a year behind me so she isn't in any of my classes so I end up talking to no one and sitting in the corner during classes. I also feel lucky my classes consist mostly of girls and usually one or two of the girls will approach me feeling sorry for me that I'm always alone. The rest of the people seem to hate me or are jealous of the cool stuff I do on my own.

Anyway, if you been approached the last two years then I'd say you've got a good chance of being approached again.
