There have been a few threads about what aspies would do if they could take over and rule Earth, but what would you do if you discovered a new barren but inhabitable planet and were given the opportunity to start your own Right planet, where only aspies could live. How would you set it up and what would you do to run it?

Depending on the size of the population that was sent to my planet, (which I would name Risa after the tropical resort planet from Star Trek TNG) and how many land masses there were, I would split the population up into pockets of civilisation that were all run under one central government, i.e me. It would effectively be a dictatorship, but I wouldn't be tyrannical and power-crazy, I'd just get to say what was what. I'd have a system set up so that everyone on the planet, regardless of their skills or deficits, could have some sort of job, and would ensure that minimal living costs never exceeded the annual wages of the lowest-paid workers. There of course would be noise ordinances in every city, as well as clean and efficient, easily accessed public transportation and high maintanence costs on all vehicles to discourage driving due to pollution and safety hazards. Regarding entertainment, I would have places like bars, movie theatres and other loud, late-night venues kept in solitary clusters in the corners of cities where no one lived so that those who enjoy that sort of thing could still do it without bothering their neighbours. Libraries and museums would be in abundance and would accompany the central tax funded free higher education system.

Can't think of anything else to add at the moment, but what would you do if you could rule your own NT-free planet?

Who would take care of the older, disabled aspies and auties? Definitely not the younger, able-bodied aspies because they'd be too busy living their own lives. In real life, the elderly and disabled are being taken care of by foreigners. Here in Seattle, that would be Africans and Filipinos, not aspies.

I imagine an NT-free planet would run like Vulcan from Star trek..."needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few"

I know this isn't exactly what you asked, but I would like to force the majority of the existing population off this planet and send them to the new planet instead. Just keep the ones who work for/understand how fragile the environment is and how precious all species are, so we'd build a green Earth and save the endangered species. It wouldn't be hard at all.
I don't care if those who are left on Earth are Aspies or NTs, I only care about how they treat the planet. But since I'm getting carte blanche I would make sure green technologies were utilized, and that gillnets and longlines became things of the past. No poachers would be allowed on Earth. We would recycle, reuse, reduce. And we'd make sure to keep population control. No more uncontrolled population explosion. Everything would be sustainable. The economy would have to change somehow, but I don't have a clear view of how to make it realistically. Things should be built to last, like they were in the good old days of only a few decades ago. No more "after 18 months it's outdated".

Not a fan of ruling anyone.

An empty planet would work. Empty as other people seem to be hellbent on ruling others (i.e., me).

I would start off w/ a copy of John Rawls' Theory of Justice.

Is that just you on an empty planet?

To quote myself from a previous thread about planets:

"On my planet, there would be no such thing as "autism," "schizophrenia," or "neurotypicality," as there would be no need to place a label on the way that the various inhabitants perceive the world. Neuro-and-bio-diversity would be the norm; vampires, werewolves, centaurs, harpies, humans, humanoids of all sorts, robots, the typical embodiment of what we currently call "aliens," and whatever other sentient life encounters the planet would all co-exist in harmony and embrace their differences as positive assets to their global community. I would not assume dictatorship over the planet and thus would leave them naming of the planet up to majority vote, though if the citizens asked for my input, I would suggest the name "Quasitopia" (as in a quasi-utopia). The government of the planet would be as democratic as sentient creatures could possibly allow with a slightly anarchist air about it; no person or group would attempt to impose their will upon any other person or group. I imagine that a global community would be the most efficient and culturally desirable, though I would not be surprised if various species created their own "countries" and would respect this so long as the countries were peaceful with one-another. The goal of life on the planet would be to embrace all possibility that is peaceful and beneficial; technological advances, so far as they do not bring harm to the environment or to people, would be encouraged, all of the arts would be wide-spread and highly admired, practiced by everyone to some degree, knowledge would be as free and as open as possible, and folly would flow abound.

Everyone would be welcome, so long as they are peaceful and willing to embrace diversity in all forms.

Also, all of the food would be organic, or at least as organic as the biosphere of the planet allows, and the main focus of medicine would be health, not sickness."

Skilpadde, are your ideas in any way connected to or inspired by The Venus Project?

No. It's just based on what's important to me. I haven't even heard of the Venus Project, so I just Googled it. It sounds close to what I want.
