I admit I do it every now and then but I'm the type that usually keeps their mouth shut unless spoken too. But sometimes-like yesterday at my grandfathers birthday celebration (Which by the way was at some weird Italian place where the food was bad-everyone agreed except those who got salad and my grandfather himself and the bread stick with the salad also was bad) I didn't know how to start a conversation with my cousin-she is very sweet and understanding-so I kinda just blurted out the beginning of my conversation.... or at least it felt that way and it seemed that way so yea I probably did and I felt uncomfortable the whole time but enjoyed actually be able to talk to someone other than my parents for once. But otherwise I don't blurt things out that may be offensive-though like I said I do it sometimes-because I usually don't talk unless spoken too or trying to start a conversation-which I usually do awkwardly. Now when I was a kid I think I blurted out a bit more. I remember telling my grandmother-randomly-how my dad was abusive to my mom (Emotionally) and she was very upset that I would say that. But now not really. Can anyone else relate?

I blurt things out times someespecially if I forget or don't realize that they are things one should not blurt out. But I am not the worst blurt outer! So I guess I am kind of middle of the road with that. But it has gotten me in trouble before.

I'm a blurter outer. I feel it building up and building up and it's a bit like a sneeze it just blurts out.

Ugh I used to feel that way a lot as a kid. I would blurt out to the teachers.... that a bad move-happened multiple times too. Luckily I never got in trouble for it because they knew I had stuff going mentally.

But now I am TERRIFIED of conflict. I don't like to be n the middle of conflicts nor be the one to start them. So I keep my mouth shut now. I don't want to start something-especially yelling. I don't like yelling.

I don't do it too much in person. I used to a bit if somebody had said a wrong fact and I knew the correct answer. That still bothers me a lot but I have learned to hold it in.

However I am terrible on Facebook with posting a status update if I'm in meltdown mode or emotionally on edge and also via text I have gotten into some terrible misunderstandings from my zero filter via text message and my long rambling texts.

I'm working on both of those issues though. I think I am getting better but I am both a harsh judge of myself and the worst at knowing if I am still doing something I shouldn't be doing.

I range from being a near-mute to a blurter. Today happens to be a weird combination of the two, which is unfortunate because I'm at a conference and need to be on my best behavior.

I'm definitely not a blurter. I'm terrified of conflict or harsh judgements--always have been. A few years ago, I rarely said more than five words a day, in public. I talk more normally now. I even start conversations sometimes, although usually I wait for the other person to engage the conversation. But definitely no blurting. Most of what I say has been carefully filtered and recycled through my brain a few times before I speak.
