I mean. I can't even enjoy a breath of fresh air without someone trying to put the play on me. Whatever happened to "smile. hello. goodbye" ect in the neighbor transaction.

I think I am going to become a statistic.

I used to get that a lot, but it has declined the older I have gotten. I think stalkers tend to go after young women who are alone, though some idiots will go after anyone. As bad as this sounds do be careful of who you talk to that you don't know. For example my boss wanted me to drum up business so when this guy at the video store asked me why I was renting a certain kind of movie that also pertained to my line of work at the time I kind of sales pitched him. Then I gave him my business card. The weirdo ended up stalking me calling me repeatedly at home, calling my employer and telling them weird things. Then unknowingly I was in another store and had no idea his friend worked there. His friend got info from my check and gave to the stalker guy. It didn't end till I moved 2000 miles away.

I've had several others bother me but not any other major stalkers like this creep. THough there is a street person that hangs out at one of the grocery stores in town and he harrasses me about every time he sees me.

wow...2000 miles....

I'm sure there's a barn somewhere I could move into..

I know it's my nonverbals.
I don't have the right voice cards in play to detour it
My 'deer in headlights' trait triggers when I am in direct confrontation with people who I would not myself choose to communicate with.

This happens all the time.
I move jobs.
I try to explain myself.
I make up boyfriends to detour the attention (oh by the way machine1  ) 8)

If I just had a tattoo on my forehead...
Shirts. Right. Shirts...

Geez. I'm not that great looking. I know I have some charisma. But I really think I'm throwing off 'I'm interested' signals. I mean I am interested in that I look at EVERYTHING. How that equates to 'do me' I dunno.

Thanks you guys for chatting /responding to my post. I can sleep now knowing somebody else has heard-that it happened/is happening again, and I'm really really scared.

I've had a couple of creepy older men act interested in buying my art, but really they were just interested in me. I was very clear that this was unwelcome and they went away, luckily. I'm sorry for what you're going through.

thankyou ooh. how was it that you very clear? Was it something that you said? Did? I mean--how do I learn that? I'm truly overwhelmed by the icky of it when it happens;

because when creepos are creepos their actions and whatnot is not clear enough to concretely defend against in front of a judge, the way I think. I could say, well he was tilting his head like this and waving his hips as he talked to me in a kind of slurry voice and asking me all sorts of personal questions that I didn't give him answers to because he creeps me out. If it were put to anothers review its all he said she said. whats worse. I think they know that and that is why they play it that way. I know its NT bias. I'm learning about them too.

Update. Because I can also see that at least his surface personality appears to be an unrelenting "playa"-you know, one that knows no other way; but also seems not like a bad horrible person (yet); well, I found a good explaination for Aspergers and attached a 'please accept my appollogee for my differences' note. I hope it is all it takes. But he was talking about being a mechanic and then I went out to my car and there was this big leak. It wouldn't be the first time a man has played that card. It just gives my real mechanic more time to spend with me.

I had boyfriends who would not accept "no," or "I have broken up with you," and once, I did have to move to get away from one person. But that was the worst.

If anybody tried to stalk me, I'd tell them where to go, and how to get there.

This happens to my friend allot because she is too friendly to strangers. She is just too nice and friendly and some ppl misintepret that as being interested in them romantically i suppose.

A co-worker told me the same thing that I was too friendly to strangers. In reference to my complaining about having people come ask me to drive them somewhere or give them money....you know strangers in parking lots. She said you're suppose to not look at them when they speak to you and then quickly turn the other way and walk away from them. I also noticed I dawdle too much when I get out of the car, like straightening clothes out of putting my gloves on and should bolt into the store more quickly and not give creeps opportunities to beg for money.

I don't think it has anything to do with how good person looks. When someone is truly a stalker it is not about sexual attraction. It's the same as a rapist, stalking is about gaining control over another human and manipulation. It's a mind game to the stalker, a cat and mouse game with you being the mouse.

If I ever have I didn't notice but I don't think I ever have. If I did, I probably would'nt even notice. If I did notice though I would be scared to death.

Wish I had a bunch of stalkers... Be sorted then ;), do know some stalkers are just shy guys trying to get the nervous to ask you out or something, might be wrong but hell if you stopped and thought for a while went up to them and scared the hell out of them...

I think walking away and not looking at them will cause them to fallow you even more, Been direct is better that way you scare the **** out of them, never give a stranger a lift... common sense, giving money now that is different depends on the person asking really might need money some are wanting these people who need money destroyed or put away somewhere they can't see them...

Or even so just show them your taser and say you got 1 min to get out of my sight before I pull the trigger...

(Trying to put the play on me) That is how life works the male seeks the female... god wish females would put moves on me instead of me having to seek them... Man giving someone your business card just coz he asks a question (Common Sense)
