Has anyone else here ever woken up from a particularly interesting dream, and wished there were a technology available to record the images and sounds of the dream to share with other people or watch again in the future? Although I know such a technology exists only in the realm of science fiction, I still have experienced many instances in which I could have used such a thing.

I would love it.

The morning after my dreams fall away like water through cupped hands. I try to draw them and I can never do it as I see them in my head.

I'd like one so i don't get so confused in the morning. Sometimes my dreams are so real i don't know if i've been dreaming or not. Having proof in my hand in the form of a video would be nice.

The strangeness of my dreams would be truly entertaining for the masses. I mean
bizarre sci-fi type stuff.

I have those dream about 99% of the time when stopping/starting new meds or adjusting the doses.

hey bios...

you should start doing what i do and just start writing down your dreams... i have a book of my dreams from since about 2002 and all i have to do to remember anyone of those dreams in their entirity is read their title.

it's kinda hard to start out... just write down anything you remember... sense colors... feelings.... it's amazing how fast your memory can pick up the pace and pretty soon you'll be retaining your dreams in your conscious much more accessibly.

I also keep a dream diary. Mine date back to 1984. I keep a small notebook by the bed and when I wake up I will write down little reminders of what the dream was then later on in the morning, I will go through it and write it on notebook paper in greater detail and that is what goes in the dream diary (9 big loose-leaf binders crammed full).

I think it would be too cool to record the dreams to watch later! :)

I'm pretty good at remembering what happens in my dreams. Not every detail but enough.

Oddly enough, since meditating from July until current time, my dream rates of drop dramatically. I dont dream as often - maybe its because dreams are your subconscious, or something, trying to deal with thoughts currently on your mind. Since I deal with all my anxieties or troubles in meditation, I've little left for sleeping :?:

The majority of my dreams are far too scary for me to ever want to experience again, however, i do like, when i remember a dream, trying to place alll the elements of it.

If you accept that dreams are basically just things that you've just seen or experienced, howevever briefly, i find it extremely enjoyable to try and remember where i originally saw something that that appeared in my dreams; it's a challenge, like when you've been trying to remember something all day, like the name of a song, and it suddenly hits you at two in the morning, i feel like i've accomplished something.

Yes. For 2 reasons.

1. So I can remember and re-live the great, wonderful dreams.

2. So I can show others my weird, vivid other dreams.

Either they're too weird and disjointed, or they're too frightening. No thanks ...
