ive never thought any of that stuff works... only thing that works is getting a support system goin and everyone around you know that you are an aspie and if life doesnt permit that than life will be hard bottom line... well for me atleast and im 25 and diagnosed at age 6

It can vary from person to person, but it's always worth trying a skill or technique to cope or adapt to a problem in your life. If it works for you, good.
