Do you have a hard time handwriting and with cursive?

I have also found that my handwriting is very sloppy and hard to read. I, myself have sometimes found that even I can't distinguish it.

But I also have a hard time writing cursive. I never can never do it right and it just seems harder for me.

Do any of you have the same problem?

My handwriting is awful. The only reason I had my A Levels graded at all is because one of my teachers demanded that a typed transcript be done of all my exam scripts as a disability accommodation.

My script is horrible, too, that's why when I write I tend to use only capital letters.

My cursive was never very graceful and by High School, I had switched to standard comic-book block lettering, which works much better for me. I can't even remember how to form some of the cursive letters anymore - not that it matters, anything I write in cursive looks like the scratching of a Polygraph readout, anyway.

I'm doing fine with my handwriting, although my cursive is a little bit rusty.

I have even gotten compliments on my nice handwriting.

But I have two types of script, so to speak: my fast handwriting and my slower handwriting. The latter is considerably more easy on the eyes than the former.

I have horrible, almost illegible, handwriting.

Yes, my cursive is atrocious. Now, as an adult, I move from cursive to mixed-case block letters sometimes within the same word.

I have few problems reading reasonable cursive written by someone else, though.

I write in a combination of print and cursive; my handwriting is nearly illegible.

In elementary school my cursive apparently looked good, but I was excruciatingly slow at writing it. I haven't used it since 3rd grade, so now I only remember how to write the letters in my name (and half the time I'm lazy with that and just write the first letter and some scribbles).

My block script is normal, I think.

My cursive was really bad and i no longer use it. I write in all block letters. It usually looks good unless i am compelled to write fast than the quality really does suffer and is almost illegible. Had problems through school as cursive was required from 3rd grade through Junior High school and it was never good enough for the teachers.

I always wrote slow in cursive so it will be readable and I have gotten so used to typing, my hand gets sore if I write for even a few minutes. I don't even understand why we even have to learn cursive if it's only used for signatures. By then I don't care how messy or unreadable it looks. I am writing it for me, not anyone else. Plus when other people write it, ugh, please print so I can read it. I don't see how others can read it and I hear teachers today use email now to write to parents than sending home notes.

I have poor handwriting, but I always thought it was because I spent so much more time typing than writing.

As a child, my handwriting was so bad that the school hired an occupational therapist who diagnosed me with poor fine motor control and would work with me on improving it.

These days I know it's because I'm bilateral and my right hand is clumsy while my right arm is dexterous, and the reverse is true for my left hand/arm.
So I write in print with my right hand/arm and I type mostly with my left hand.

I am sure that my handwriting is the worst in the history of mankind.

Mine is absolutely terrible.

Mine was always pretty bad but now it is a lot worse because I rarely use the skill due to computers.
