I reccommend it. I enjoyed the movie, and my kids did too. I'd give it a shot if I were you. It starts a little slow, but as soon as Cruise gets to the residential place, about ten minutes or so into the movie, it picks up. You can always stop the movie if you don't like it, but give it a try.
I'm 17 and not allowed to watch "R"-Rated movies without an adult (not sure if the theatre rules or not but it's a house rule), my parents don't like asking me to stop movies, last time I did that, they got really annoyed. I also don't like asking people to turn movies off, I used to watch Disney movies at daycare and the daycare wouldn't stop them if I was acting bored, I used put my hands on the couch, with my back pointed to the TV and my face pointed to towards the couch, and slip my feet back and forth. She used to get mad when I didn't want to watch the movie, she would once said "Do you have eyes in your bum?". That's the point! I'm bored of this movie and trying to find a way to entertain myself while it ends! Maybe, that's why I feel forced to sit with whole movies. I don't know.
