April Fools Prank (May shock some Harry Potter fans)

On thursday night, right after logging on here and taking a last look at your excellent and witty posts, i decided to look at a fanfic on my second-most favorite website, www.mugglenet.com. When i saw the message on the screen, i recived a shock...

So, still shocked, angry, and sad, i went to school on April 1st, and told my friend and fellow HP fanatic that the site had been shut down. I came home and decided to take a last look at the message, just to make sure it wasn't a bad dream. This is what i saw in the latest news column of the still-running site...



Has anyone else (Besides Bec, of course) heard about this prank?

I almost fainted when I saw that. But I'm kind of confused about the book 6 countdown, it comes out in July, but yesterday it said 7 hours.

It said seven hours because it was another joke about the Pillar of Storge (one of the first names that was a well-known rumour for the sixth book). I too got fooled by this. It almost gave me a heart attack!

I was so fooled!!

However, considering that the site is mostly run by teenagers and it's visited by people worldwide, I thought that was the kulest prank ever! A couple of teenagers pulling an international April Fool's prank...pretty wicked.

Some people even took notice. CBBC Newsround quoted them when they higlighted some AF pranks around the world. You can see the link on their site.

They should have put something wierd on it as well, such as Michael Jackson had kidnapped the person who plays Harry Potter in the films to 'get magical'.

Uh, i don't even want to THINK about that...
