Exactly why I was always grateful that my job allowed me to work in a closed room, away from the babble and chatter. I got more work done in a few hours than those idiots did all day, because they wasted so much time prattling about T-ball and soccer and what cutesy remark junior made to the Sunday School teacher and the birthday party at Chucky Cheese and what's on sale this week at Kohls that their daughter wants for school....blah...blah...blah...
I could not understand why anyone paid these people a full time salary to spend 50% of their time filling the air with jabber and accomplishing nothing, but if I finished all my work for the next two weeks ahead and left early, I got fired.

seems like employers care more about what you appear to do rather then what you actually do.
