I can remember in December 2010 Tesco was chaos on Christmas eve afternoon.

In December 2011 everybody obviously wanted to avoid the memorable crowds and so they all chose the idea of doing their last-minute shopping the day before Christmas eve. At least Tesco was more bearable on Christmas eve when I nipped in there.

In December 2012 everyone I knew was saying they were going to avoid other Christmas shoppers all together and go to Tesco at 2 o'clock in the morning in Christmas eve. Then I saw everyone had done it because the amount of comments on Facebook saying how chaotic Tesco was at 2 o'clock in the morning. At least it was nice and peaceful when I went into Tesco on Christmas eve afternoon.

I wonder if everybody will go to another supermarket this Christmas, like Sainsburys? Or will the cycle start over again for the next 3 years? I just thought I'd share this because it made me laugh, how 90% of people all got caught out each time because nobody realised that everyone else had the same idea. At least me and my family are sensible and clever enough to stagger our last-minute Christmas shopping day to avoid the most busiest times when we look for the pattern.
