Thought you'd never ask :D

Well, I've decided to take a temporary departure from my usual serious posts, and engage in some more lighthearted humour...about otherwise serious stuff.
So here goes!! What do Aspergers and Global Warming have in common?? READ ON:

1. They are both contested as to what extent they truly exist.

2. Experts and laypeople alike cannot agree on how much of it is due to human-induced factors, or how much it is just a natural progression of things.

3. Some have the flippant attitude of ignoring it and that it will just be the next generation's problem to deal with.

4. They both carve out a job market in the economy for misfits (for Aspergers, it's Specialisterne or SAP; for the tree-hugging hippies, it's the "green collar" sector)

5. They are both growing at an astonishing rate per year.

6. They both involve situations where people don't pick up on "obvious" signals of something wrong in their environment :)

7. AL GORE has been a long-speculated closet Aspie - now there's an inconvenient truth for you
