I know this varies people to people.
But at my school, the staff knows (due to my mom) about my diagnosis. I end up being treated like the youngest (funny enough, the youngest is 15. But I'm like 18 and supposed to be 3rd year college.)
I'm not in high school, I'm on college level (As someone from Philippines, I graduated high school to the year where it's unaffected by K+12 system. K+12 affects 1st year HS to be 7th grade, I was 4th year and graduating. This might be hard to explain... 16 is still a common age here when someone's in college)
Anyways, they seem being lenient to me...
Like purposely snooping around the admin's office (out of curiosity), end up getting caught (as students are not allowed there without permission), instead of some punishment or some scold they just asked me what am'I doing there as if students are allowed to stroll around casually.
When the the room is too cold for my liking, they turn down the air conditioner even some students are complaining it's already too warm for them. I'm the only one who's complaining. I can't tolerate cold well as much as I can tolerate heat.
I'm mostly allowed to get out whenever I want without question. My classmates ends up being questioned whenever they leave.
When I'm not in a mood for participating physical education activities, they just let me instead. While my classmates are being warned to work out. I don't have any physical problems nor respiratory/cardiac problems except having a case of constant sneezing (I have this allergy since when I was 4) but nothing serious or severe enough to affect me.
Same with recitations, quiz, projects. They let me go and do it later. To let my classmates to have this case, they need a reason. Funny enough, whenever I answered something in class, they all go silent or overreacting as if what I'm saying is important. Whenever we get our scores, they mostly ask and tried to know what my score is.
For some reason, even all students are either too tolerant or just nice or having an urge to mock me. I don't know. The whole school noticed me. I don't pose and act as NT very well. They all kinda treat me like their youngest. I don't know anyone of them, even their names (I still don't know how to make friends, though they approach me, I end up having awkward silences). Yet everyone knows my name, and greets me as if I'm someone popular. What did they think I'm someone mysterious or what? I don't like being noticeable. I don't think someone from the staff told my case did they?
