What do you love about being AS? What do you hate?

Mine:
Love
being unique / hipster before hipsters were in style
having an excuse to wear the same thing almost every day :-)
being able to remember things others forget
being able to troubleshoot in ways NTs can't or don't
seeing details others often miss

Hate
drawing attention to self in public due to stimming
nerves always being active / exhaustion
sensory overloads / meltdowns

LOVE:

Awesome lateral thinking abilities.
Ability to think visually
Ability to make connections and correlations between seemingly random things
My creativity
My knack with flat pack furniture - which I guess is connected to the visualisation skills?

HATE or at least dislike

The shutdowns and meltdowns
The fact that I sometimes can't make myself understood
The fact that I often need things explaining carefully, which makes me look far less intelligent than I really am
My inability to create systems, which means that I can't put things away unless someone else helps me get started. Especially annoying as my partner is super tidy
The way my brain sometimes just shuts off halway through a thought or sentence. Reminds me of the dog from UP! ("SQUIRREL!")
Not being able to touch certain fabrics or surfaces.
Not always being able to describe how I feel.

And finally... although this happens less often now as I try to smile by default -

People telling me to "cheer up, it might not happen"!

LOVE:

The deep focus. Once I set my mind to creating a pop album, novella, novel or short story I don't stop till it's completed.
The creative ways of coming up with solutions to problems, that is, thinking outside the box.

HATE:
The uniqueness of being different. To tell you the truth, I'd rather be normal and just blend in.
The difficulties I have with relating to my own peer group.
The difficulties I have with saying the wrong or inappropriate things or things that might offend somebody.
The meltdowns, some related to my extreme fear of dogs.
The fact that I don't socialize, don't go to parties and is always alone.
The comorbids like depression and anxiety.

Hate:
-Shutdown/Meltdown(scare of myself when that happen)
-Social Anxiety
-Invasive thinking(having one thought on a loop drive me nuts)
-Clumsiness(breaking stuff, hurting myself, looking like a tall goof when I do things)
-Having no control over emotions(either too deep into emotions or totally abscent)
