I really hate when this happens. I once brought up a concern about having an anxiety disorder to one of my teachers. She just said it was part of my Asperger's.

I feel you bro.
My mum does this all the time, anything bad could happen to me or I do something annoying and she'll say it's because I have "problems". But whispers problems like it's a swear word. Silly cow. :x

I feel everything I do is viewed as part of my condition by other people. Like if I express how I'm feeling about something, they think I'm being honest and it's part of my condition. But if I don't express how I'm feeling about something, they think that is also part of my condition. My family don't think like this because they just know me as me, not just as an Aspie. In fact my family automatically put my differences aside and just see me as the way I am and blame most of my quirks on ''running in the family''. But outsiders (who know I have Asperger's) seem to think all of my intentions are because of my condition.

I'm not even diagnosed and today my grandma said she feels like i hate her and she was asking where my emotions were then my mom said something about me needing to recognize my grandma. Then i was like "how am i supposed to know she has a problem with me? Am i just supposed to read her mind?" then my mom said "everyone has problems with you."

I do have that problem sometimes with some people, and get frustrated because I want my personality to be seen as individual and not explained away by my diagnosis, BUT I also have the opposite problem, when I explain something that is very difficult to me because of my Asperger's and people say I'm making excuses for myself or "Oh, everybody has that problem - you're just not trying hard enough to overcome it" or something. Which to me is even worse, especially since it's so hard for me to own up to things that ARE autism-related shortcomings.
