i feel stupider than some people here,

i know im not, but i dont have some of the same problems as other people here, most people here have troubles with what they say and making friends. but i have more trouble doing things for myself and hyperactive behaviours. also some of the entries on here are better than mine and a lot longer, when i really really hate writing and spelling exspecially., maybe its because im a tenager because i have more in common with kids at autism camp. im not sure how else to word it

I'm in my 30's, have a Master's degree, a professional job, and am enrolled in a PhD program. I'd suggest there are a wide range of folks on this website.

I echo what StatsNerd said. And I don't have all the problems that some other members here have. Nobody does. It's a spectrum, after all.

Well you might very well be, only thing i can say is welcome to the club pal.

Like everything else, we cant all be as smart. im definitely at the lowest end, on the scale where it reads, this line is dumber than dirt, i would probably hover just above that.

Seriously, don't feel bad about yourself. No-one is perfect. I have education, family etc, and I frequently hate my life for completely different reasons.
It's easy to feel bad when you see others have the thing you feel is missing in yourself, but they may be missing something you have, but don't know it.

And can I say, I usually make long posts, but prefer to read short ones. I wish I didn't talk so much, but cant seem to help myself.

the sooner one takes to heart the fact that there will always be greater as well as lesser persons than oneself, the sooner one can best work with what one has to maximize one's own potential so that one can be of better service to those lesser than oneself- after all, that is the real reason why one has any gifts at all, so that they can be shared with the bereft.

Try not to compare yourself to others in such a pessimistic manner. Everyone has differences, everyone is far from perfect. Focus instead, on bettering yourself.

Eh... I admit, even I have trouble sticking to my ever-optimistic perspective and following my own advice in face of so much adversity. I have felt like that as well however since we all get to be as anonymous as we want to on this site, I have to question how much information people here volunteer about how well they function. Perhaps your just more forthcoming then many others.

Dear ZombieBrideXD,No one here is going to judge you by how eloquent your posts are or by how smart you are or by what issues you have or don't have. It's kind of like a big family here. Everyone is different but everyone is equal. Some have certain skills and talents other have different ones. And some people have issues that others don't have and vice versa. But no matter what your issues are or what your strengths and weaknesses are you are a part of this WB family and you belong here just as much as anyone else. You are unique and special just like everyone else here. We welcome your thoughts and feelings just like with everyone. Please do not feel insecure about being here. You are just as valued and important to the WB community as every other member.

I also feel that I'm different from the rest of the people on WP. There was one thread where I compared myself to everybody else on WP. LOL What's Your IQ in the Member's Only section. I've also asked the OP of a thread a very rich question today asking if I should stop wearing my favourite shirts, because it might be "Harmful to society." There was also an entire summer when I felt that I was too old to be on WP, because of my interests and most members seemed to be between the ages 15 and 21 and up to date with the latest that pop culture and mainstream society had to offer.

I never went to college and got any degree and finding a job had always been tough for me and I struggled in school with school assignments. I wouldn't have finished school if I didn't have support.

Hi ZombieBrideXD, there are all kinds of ways to be clever. I always say that half of cleverness is about attitude anyway.

Also, you're one of the youngest on the forum. I think its nice that your writing style reflects that.

Hi ZombieBrideDX. You really don't need to apologise for how you feel as I think there are a lot of people in here who feel the same way. We are often very hard on ourselves, way more than we should be. I read a lot of posts on various threads on here from people who claim to be very clever, yet they post arrogant rubbish! I would far rather read your posts than theirs! I have things I can learn from young people who have been dx'd early, like yourself, and are willing to share their thoughts and experiences on here. Please don't stop posting because your experiences, opinions and thoughts are valuable, believe in yourself!

I'm pretty stupid, and I wrote really badly (worse than I do now) before I went to college. I have never been able to keep any job for more than two months. I'm also in my 30's, have a master's degree, and am married with kids. Just because someone has some accomplishments doesn't mean he/she doesn't also have difficulties.
