What are your favorite big cities in the U.S.?

I'd have to go with Baltimore, DC, NYC, Chicago, Philadelphia
Sf and Boston would be on the list too probably but haven't explored enough to say

perhaps Seattle and Portland as well.
Stl perhaps and even Milwaukee.

St. Louis and Chicago, I've lived in both and am in love with both. I also like San Fransisco and Santa Monica. The Twin Cities are nice. The Cocteau Twins were right when they named an album 'Heaven or Las Vegas' I haven't visited these cities yet but I think I'd like them: New Orleans, Memphis, Seattle, Denver, Sante Fe, Portland, and Philadelphia.

International cities I am interested in: Prague, Kyoto, Barcelona, and Buenos Aires.

I apologize for being into lists a tad bit much.

My favorite that I've lived in: Dallas, TX. My favorites that I've visited but haven't lived in: New Orleans and NYC.

Baltimore or DC easily. I would love to live in either and might be applying for grad school in DC -- or at the very least post grad.

Osaka is on my list too, I think its a center for Bunraku which I like tremendously. I would like to visit all four islands actually.

I've heard a person who has lived in both Baltimore and St. Louis say that they are sister cities and when I was watching The Wire I've often thought 'hey, that could be St. Louis easily,' The architecture looks very similar and they both have traits of both the East and the South. What I really want to know about Baltimore is do they have the spot where they found Edgar Allen Poe dying in the gutter?

There is a Bunraku Center here.

Actually one of my favorite cities in Japan is Hiroshima. Really lovely place and very laid-back. Kobe is awesome too.

I'd really like to go to both those places too and to all four islands, including the city Sopporo.

Miami! Absolutely love Miami. Definitely my favourite city in the US. I also love New York City, and Boston is nice as well (I live here, so it's not far).

OOh, I'd love to visit Prague and Kyoto as well! I was thinking US big cities. There are so many worldwide cities I'd want to visit O.O

Poe's grave is here and someone used to leave roses and liquor on it every year, on the anniversary of his death. This year was the first time since 1949 the person didn't leave them. Maybe he/she died.
