does anybody else hate the texture of book pages? It makes me want to rub my fingernails on it, which is horrible. I have trouble reading because I just hate the texture of the pages.

I don't have this problem with book pages, but I have the same problem with other kinds of textures. Like the kind of microfiber that looks like towels. Also the feeling of a dry sponge against a blackboard is terrible, reminds me of the feeling of towels against my teeth. Like you say, with wanting to rub your fingers against the pages, I kinda get the urge to trigger that terrible feeling I get from these textures, or the combination of two.

I enjoy the many different textures of papers... and fabrics.

It doesn't bother me that much but I get where you're coming from, I don't like the noise of turning a page either.

page texture has never bothered me, but the smell of books is something I am highly sensitive to.
As for microfiber I love it. I have big microfiber robe and i love the feel of it.
anything scratchy like wool or burlap is what i can't stand

I don't know exactly what kind of texture you are talking about. I'm not comfortable with the gloss paper surface that kind of feels sticky when your finger is slightly sweaty. Also the noise it makes when you run your finger across it. Sort of squeaky noise.

Paper sometimes drives me crazy. Not so much in books though because I'm not sliding my hand across the pages much, but when writing in school sometimes it's just awful. Other times, not so much. I think it's when my hands are more dry.

I'm not so bad with book pages but there is little I hate the feeling of more than photo paper- which is difficult considering one of my main hobbies is photography...
