I haven't watched the show, so I can't really say whether I do or not.

Well, I've only seen dead people in photographs and at funerals, and frankly, I prefer it that way. No mediumship here, though I'm a whiz at psychometry (like Jeff Goldblum in 'Vibes' - anybody remember that movie?

In the sense that he was alienated by the fact that he had perceptions that nobody around him could understand or appreciate, then yes, I completely identify with that.

It's one of my favorite movies, but no, I can't relate to Cole.

I don't see dead people.
I've never played that game he played with his mother where they talk about what they wish had happened that day.
I haven't talked to a teacher in the way he did in the classroom when he went "stuttering Stanley! Stuttering Stanley!"
He had reason to because of the ghosts, but I was never so hesitant and fearful at his age as he comes off. I was pretty confident at that age.

What? You can touch an object and sense where it has been and what kind of person owned it, etc?

No, but I think my friend's father can relate. He sees dead people too, or so he claims.

So freaking glad I can't see dead people, that would be terrifying. I watched maybe half of that movie when I was ten or eleven and it gave me nightmares for weeks.
