When i went to a shrink for help after years of anti depressants and social diasters ! I was like Yeah crap thats why im strange I have ADHD!! !

that not a bad thing its got its advantages! ,disadvantages i can work with that but when the shrink told me AS my whole life Crashed actually i felt paralized!! ! no contact my eyes turn way i just stood there in my own world alone!! !! for several minutes no a words, no movements!! !!

Why?????? u ask????

because anything related to autism type disorders is looked on as BAD! people moaning, complaining how much a burden it is, how god is testing them and there familys , autistic people are angels ? what ever!! !

The fact of the matter is no one likes people that moan!! normal people hate normal people that moan just as much!

you think posting quotes on pictures makes people understand ????? im confused!

if you was a mouse and you lived in a world full of cats do you think posting pictures of all your dead mutalated relatives among the cat community would give them some form of empathy or maybe you would just get invited to there next dinner party!

my point is ADHD is glamarous ! Im sure they have big problems too!

Yeah i dont understand!! ! and it seems like noone does!
but in the end you make friends with lonellyness what other option have you?

I don't understand all of your message but I'll try to reply to what I do understand.

I don't think ADHD is glamorized at all. It's usually stereotyped as a "joke" that means that people can't pay attention to anything. I don't think that would be "glamorized".

A diagnosis is what you make of it. It's information. You don't have to disclose that to anyone else. I use it as a guide to tell me what I need work on. That's just me though.

People just don't take ADHD all that seriously. A lot of people just don't believe it is real. So they feel sorry for you because they think someone convinced you that you have something wrong with you that isn't real. Or else they take the attitude that everyone has a little ADHD, but most people get over it and get on with things and if you just try a little harder you can do that too. There is no glamour, no understanding, no respect.

from what i understand it seems that there alot of similarities between symptoms of different disorders but its the difference in way the person suffering that disorder comes to the conclusion which creates the symptom! language is one of my symptoms by the way also part of AS!

I disagree we live in a society were disability is looked down on we are the minority here. ADHD is in fact given a good label with pictures of inventors, public figures of sucess, CODs of companies, are we trying to be apart of society are we noT???? i would never under estimate ADHD some of the brightess and imaginative ideas have been spawn by them :) after all its the idea that counts!

could the real reason that autism is classed as a "real disability" be purely people are forced to deal with it and they dont like it?

plz no more photo of victums!! !! !! !

The way I see it autism has more advantages than ADHD.

Attention to detail.

High level of detail in long term memory. A better memory than ADHD overall.

Executive function isn't as impaired.

Far more hyper focus than a person with just ADHD could ever dream of.

Innate ability to organise.

Sure there are disadvantages but the positives parts out weight any positive parts in ADHD. Ooh look at me, I have out of the box thinking.

Who cares what people think? Stop moaning. I educate people. I get a little over making people feel bad with how they treat autistic people and try to tell them in a much more constructive way. Anyway, I hate memes. I prefer using straight text.

There are just as many successful people with autism as there are ADHD. All I really hear is the negative side of ADHD with people just struggling to live basic everyday lives. It's not glamorous at all. We get a lot of sh** thrown at us too. We're called lazy, making excuses, stupid and other lovely things. The worst part is not many people believe it exists at all.

There's really no link between ADHD and creativity. I believe they are just differently creative to the rest of he world and there's just as much creativity in the normal population.

I think you're creating your own stigma or are a troll or something else. But once you stop thinking about this you'll be less bothered by it.
