After watching a sickening Autism Speaks streaming fundraiser the other day I got to thinking, why couldn't we do the same thing but raise money for groups that are really helping autistics instead. Right away I would say either ASAN or SEEDS for Autism ( www.seedsforautism.org , basically a local group that gives working experience to adults with autism) would be perfectly eligible for some fundraising efforts. In fact the later might be more eligible as they probably have less money and they are a bit less controversial (and we could do more than one of these and give money all around to all sorts of groups like that). While we are raising money for them, and telling them the kinds of things they do, we can also tell a bit of the truth about other Autism Groups. We will advertise it everywhere, on here, on our Facebook pages, on Autism Speaks facebook page, on the LoL forums, on my clans forums, etc. I was thinking maybe we could play 6 games (not a 24 stream, but a 6 hour stream would be nice) where we each of the 6 of us take turns "hosting" while the other 5 play, that way there won't be any sort of real dead air time (meanwhile the others can talk as well if they have something to add). We need to get our message out there, this might be a fun way too.

P.S. I have absolutely no experience with this, and while I am sure I could figure it out, and my computer is still pretty capable of handling something like this, it might help if we get someone who knows what they are doing lol.

P.S. I already have one person who seems willing to do this, and also I should add that I think most of the time we should just spend talking about ourselves, describing ourselves as fully human, something Autism Speaks never seems to do.

Although I don't play League of Legends this is something I've been thinking of doing for a long time. Hit me up with any other fund raising ideas you've got one willing donor and advertiser here.

I'm that one person :)

And yes, I agree with jinto. We need to show everyone that we are people just like them.
