[Senses] - How Normal is This?
So one thing I've noticed is that almost all of my senses seem to be some type of sensitive, mostly hyper, but only to a small degree (tactile is to a larger degree). Based on what I've been told in the past and how others senses seem to measure up to mine based on recent questioning, I know this to be true (others don't have the problems I have etc). I'll elaborate briefly on that now using the more fancy terms to list the senses:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Visual - I seem to be slightly more sensitive to light than everyone I've talked to or observed in that my eyes tend to hurt easily, and for longer on bright sunny days. For example, when I walked out of school on sunny days I had to look at the shady ground or squint heavily otherwise my eyes would hurt. No one else seemed to experience this, and that fact was reinforced by my asking of some people. I know it isn't just readjusting to the light (unless my eyes do it really, really slowly) because it can last for minutes, and generally I still have to squint at least a little anyway. This has been the case all my life, and while it's typical for glare to hurt eyes, as I said it tends to last for longer and come about more easily for me, and I know this discrepancy is factual.
Auditory - No issues as far as I'm aware right now, but when I was younger I usually had sound playing on electronic devices quieter than most other people would have liked. I tend to be distracted by background noises quite easily though, and will always hear 'cracks' in the house etc whilst talking to my parents, and they won't have heard them. I had frequent ear infections and ear aches when I was 2-3-4-5 years old and had to keep taking medication for them. I'm not sure if any of this is relevant however.
Gustatory - I can't handle spicy foods, I hate even mild spice in my food and consider it to wreck the meal for me. I don't see why someone would want their mouth to burn/hurt while eating. Not sure if relevant but I love eating blocks of feta cheese and lemon tuna by themselves, and do so almost every day. I'm somewhat of a picky eater in that although I feel open to trying new meals, I never have, and I still don't think I would. I tend to stick to what I know.
Olfactory - This sense is an exception. I'm not sure if it's normal because it may be hyposensitive because I have a tendency to touch and smell things excessively.
Vestibular - Afraid of heights and being in water, always appeared 'wimpy' especially at amusement parks because I'd only go on the 'pansy rides'. I have always tended to move relatively carefully, and I hate having my head upside down such as in backstroke. There's more, but generally none of it is a major problem as far as I'm aware. What's strange here is that I also tend to show 'signs of hyposensitivity' in that I fidget a lot and rearrange positions frequently especially when sitting either on a chair or on the floor. I do this far more than others, and even before considering Asperger's or anything I'd be aware that I was moving around a ton more than everyone else. To be honest, I'm not sure if this is related to vestibular or not, and I even list it below possibly as a proprioceptive thing.
Proprioception - Love tightness, squishy situations, pressure etc. This may be tactile though. I also read this description from a fellow WP member, and it reminds me of when I was 11 in particular (would constantly be shuffing in bed etc). The description given seems to be a bit more hypersensitive than what I have though, but generally that's what the goal of this post is, to see if others have 'smaller' hypersensitivities:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's 4AM as I write this and so I may have accidentally made what I listed sound more serious than intended. My point is that compared to others, my senses seem to be out of whack but only slightly, but still enough for me to have noticed. I don't have any intense overloads or anything, but I have felt random periods of exhaustion, fatigue, irritability and been unable to concentration/focus properly etc.
Can anyone make sense (pun intended

My eyes are sensitive to certain lights (supermarket, bright sunlight), I don't like spicy foods (I prefer my foods basic or bland which is why the paleo diet suits me so well, I don't need a lot of fancy stuff to be satisfied, I am quite happy with meat and veg...) as I have sensitive taste buds, I dislike certain sounds (don't cope well in noisy places where everyone is talking at once and hate the sound of electronic equipment buzzing for example) and I have sensitive skin as well so tend to be picky about what I will wear or sleep on etc.
All in all I come across to people as being fussy.
I do love roller coasters however. I adore movement in a vehicle...trains, buses, cars, roller coasters. In the case of the latter, the faster the better (not with the others though, fast driving for example can be scary..speed limit please I'm not ready to die in a horrific accident yet).

The bolded part is strikingly true of me. My whole life I was the 'fussy pansy' and even my family gave me crap for it.
Also please don't get killed on a roller coaster. I watched Final Destination 3 and it's not nice. >.>

I have seen that movie too and am in agreement with you. It doesn't look like a good way to go...

Based on your descriptions, I would say that most of your sensory perceptions are within the normal range.
Most people have slight sensitivities to specific stimuli, sensory-seeking for specific stimuli, significant fear of specific stimuli.
