Was just wondering if anxiety that stems from simple events is directly a result of being on the spectrum, or more related to something like an anxiety disorder, or perhaps both.

I'll give an examples that I frequently experience (illustrative, not exhaustive, cheers DSM):

+ When I think about asking my mum if a friend can come to my house, I get a sudden intense blast of anxiety in my chest/abdomen that lasts for a few seconds followed by regular anxiety.
+ When I'm late to school I feel incredibly nervous and tense despite knowing that nothing bad is going to happen. It gets worse when approaching my classroom.
+ When I want to go swimming but there are strangers in the pool, I feel anxious and no longer want to go in it until they all get out. If my sister is there or someone else I like then I'm a bit better.
+ Mostly in the past, but when out at school camps etc if I need to go to the toilet, I try and stall until whatever I'm doing is finished because I feel too anxious about asking the teacher/guardian if I can go.

The anxiety seems to, for the most part, disappear when I'm actually doing those things. For example, when asking my mum the anxiety is less than when thinking about it, and when in the classroom it feels better than when approaching it.

So while referring to my initial sentence, who else experiences this?

EDIT - Just thought I should had that I have literally thousands of other examples but I can't really give exact events as I considered them insignificant/embarassing. I was always the only one I knew that had problems with these types of things, and my sister/friends etc would always be either bagging me or attempting to force me in to facing the anxieties.
