Most people don't even know what autism or Asperger's is, so why would they ever ask us?
No, but strangers often ask me if I'm okay. Most people that find out about my diagnosis say that I don't seem autistic. I've always felt very happy whenever people said that. Even a psychiatrist said that I don't look autistic.
How do a person "look autistic"?

I have gotten that a couple times.

My best friend said she didn't mention that she thought I had AS because she thought I might have been offended by her asking. I wouldn't have. I really wish she had said something back then. I didn't know about aspergers back then and would have liked to know that there may be a reason for my weirdness.
