I only started thinking about this recently, but I met one of my friends in middle school and he introduced me to one of his friends, who I'm not exactly sure how he guessed/learned, but my friend asked me whether or not I had Aspergers. I said yes, because I tend to be open about it towards friends, he told me that his friend also had Aspergers.

At first, I suspected that his friend told him, but now I'm beginning to suspect that he is autistic as well. He's kind of quiet and affectionate, like me, and he also obsesses over RPGs and fan-made animations to video games.

How should I respond?

Respond to what?

If your friend was forward enough to ask you if you had aspergers, and you were ok with it,then there's no reason you couldnt ask him if he is on the autism spectrum as well.

I missed what you should be responding to?
You've already responded to his question.
Who cares, really, whether he or his friend are AS or ASD?
The real question is whether you mostly like them and generally get along with each other.
And have similar interests and engage in similar activities.

Other than that, does it really matter if they're black or white or green or tall or fat or amputee or cancer survivor or divorced or widowed or originally came from Kansas?

So I'd recommend just hanging out and doing things you guys might like to have some fun doing.

yeah, respond with the same question if you want. Why not?
There are also NT people who i think of as being asd friendly.
There is one kid on a forum that i have been getting along with really well and have a lot
it common with. He's NT, but all the same, we are on the same page with a lot of stuff.
We would be good buddies if we were in school together.
