In elementary school I felt that all the other kids were weird humans, and I was a misunderstood Alien.

I'd like this reference more if it was a reference to one of the good alien movies, not the newest one. But kudos to you, because alien references are always awesome.

I pretend (when I don't understand something) that I am investigating and this way I can approach it as though it is not because I am stupid but because I am new to the planet and therefore this makes sense.
