I am not actually diagnosed with ADHD, my only diagnosis is autism. ADHD explains my problems way better than autism does. Should I just tell people I have ADHD if they ever ask me what I have?

Yes you should if it makes you feel better.

Is there any chance that you might be able to get officially diagnosed?

Why do you need to tell anyone what you have?

I don't really need to. This is just in case someone asks what I have. I'm not planning to tell people otherwise.

Seems rude of them to ask what you have. But I guess if they do, you could always say "none of your business".

I would see if you can find a way to get it properly evaluated, not for anyone else's sake, but so that you have the documentation you need if you do manage to shed the autism diagnosis, but still need help with aspects of daily functioning. If you don't need help, or the label to get services, I don't think there's anything wrong with telling people who need to know that you have it.
