i like to look at the people. i like malls where a big mix of people go, like, many classes and races. if everyone is rich and white and thin it kind of intimidates me. i like to go to a mall in the nearest big city and see people from all continents, just to remind myself there are all kinds, because i live in a small town.
and i like to look at the differnet outfits people wear; sometimes the real ppl's outfits are more interesting than the ones in the stores, and you get fashion ideas. i am not good at fashion, but i enjoy it in theory.
also i like the foodcourt. and the bookstores.
the main thing about malls is that some stores are way too expensive. the mall is more fun if around half of the stores have things i would actually pay that much for, even if i don't buy them that day. if every store is expensive and exclusive, that is intimidating too.
my husband likes malls ok, but not for the same reasons as me. i am not sure what are his reasons. maybe he is not sure. anyway, it's ok for us, becos we don't usually get overload from people unless we have to interact w them, and in malls you don't have to. if it were a party, well, could be a totally different result.
