Interesting article. I was taken back by how so many people seem to think they are better and do more then others, as I am one to be honest about these things and most people say I undervalue myself.

1/10, which was "At family dinners, you secretly enjoy grabbing the last cookie."

Hey, cookies are amazing, who wouldn't?

Depressing, and in my experience accurate. Although it was meant to be satirical. Sort of. I think.

This is why I am considering moving into the woods to live with the animals.

Just 1/10 for me "You’re convinced that most people are takers." though for me it's in the context of some many people preyed on my nievity that I don't trust in humanity so much anymore.

I am selfish; I try to live according to my rational self-interest. Therefore I don't use, unfairly take advantage of, brag at, or try to impress people. Those are things second-handers do.

Some of those items are a display of "pretentiousness", not "selfishness".

0 out of 10.

I ask people if they would like the last cookie.

I don't have a Linked In account, nor do I know what The Giving Tree is about.

Sometimes I think people expect us to be self-absorbed. I sometimes wish that I was. I'm too damn nice sometimes.

"You brag about your SAT score, and you’re not even in school anymore."
We don't have SAT here, but I am certainly content with parts of my grades and the results of some of my exams. And why shouldn't I be? It's likely the height of my accomplishment. I don't exactly brag though, but I will tell that with pride if the topic of school comes up.

"You’re convinced that most people are takers."
Duh.

Animals can be much worse than people, especially the ones bigger than humans.

Did you guys scroll down to the rest of the article, where you could evaluate yourself and get others to evaluate you? The results on that one are percentages, and you can see how others before you have scored.

See here--
http://www.giveandtake.com/Home/ChooseAssessment

What's interesting is that most people respond to most questions with "giver"-type answers, followed by "matcher" (fairness), and a few "taker" (personal advantage). So people are, if they're being honest on this quiz, actually rather altruistic by nature.

Makes sense to me; that is my experience. People in general tend to be helpful, especially when they are in a decent mood; and when they are not helpful, they still tend to believe in fairness. Not to say we're angels--we're just social animals who are designed to live in groups, and the most successful groups are ones where everyone pitches in. We are literally born with the instinct to help others, especially familiar others. In a group where everyone gives a lot, everyone also receives a lot.

None of them fit me. I do love sweets but I don't eat too much of it because it's not healthy for you.
