I have a theory! aspergers is caused by purely genetic reasons. and i have my reasons. what do you think?

To me, implying it is "caused by purely genetic reasons" would mean that 100% of autistic traits are explained with genetics. That would mean that two homozygous twins (who have exactly the same genetic material) would automatically be exactly as autistic and exactly autistic in the same way. That does not seem to be supported by recent research. Clearly the genetics are an extremely important factor in autism, maybe the more important, but they don't explain everything.

Yes, Asperger's Syndrome is genetic. One indicator I heard about was that a lot of people with Asperger's have bent toes and/or fingers, looking at mine I can see slight bends on both hands and my toes are really curved.

That's weird, my fingers curve as well.
