No, I don't think, "How weird is this?" I have always been this way. I am glad to have a name for it. I think "normal" people are weird. I will never understand them.

Do you have (or have you had) identity issues? Like, "am I my symptoms?", or "who would I be without these symptoms." Of course this is how we are neurologically wired, but still don't you think how weird is this?

Personally I have more issues with deciding what role AS plays in my life. For instance, if autistics struggle with some issue, it's usual to shove it onto autism. But are NTs perfect? Don't they ever procrastinate, or accidentally offend people?

Yup espicaly the last couple of years as iv gotten older, for me it mainly stems from what I can do as in, I know logically I can do anything I want realistically but I have so many blocks in my head due to my thoughts about AS and how it makes things harder.

Thread locked as lovemybrain trashed it by overwriting the opening post to something different.

@lovemybrain please don't trash threads like that. Either add a new post to the existing thread or create a new thread if the topic is different.

You may also find it advantageous to use a meaningful title for your threads so members know what it is about without them having to open it.
