When it rains its a thunderstorm,

My kids mother just called me begging to help her, she cant reach her other ex and her kids that was in his care cant be reached, she said some cops came to his house and she is afraid he was arrested. if he was the kids got taken. we have no idea why, he is a bible thumper so its unlikely he was breaking any laws, the man is about like me and just wants to be left alone to raise his kids. the only thing wrong he has been doing according to the government is he likes living off the grid and he refuses to have and use a social security number, he thinks its the devils 666 having that number. I respect that, the government wont. right now I am to stoned to go help her look into this, so I cant be driving. but the biggest reason she came to me is because I WILL get in the polices face if I think their in the wrong. and she has seen me do so a few times and get away with it. in fact it pissed her off when we were fighting over our child and I ended up walking all over her ass. she even got a restraining order and when the police confronted me by the time I was done with them they totally ignored it and left me to do my own thing. i have that gift what can I say. Oh damn, I cant let my sons siblings get taken. I guess I need to sober up so I can go handle this. the woman wouldn't come begging me unless she is truly worried and scared.

This is entirely a matter of split decisions; sounds like you live somewhere where it's difficult to exist without raising suspicion, yet anyone there should be able to respect that no matter the circumstances, you just want safe environs for your kids. Don't waste your time fearing police or legal trouble, your kids probably don't either. Just explain the situation to everyone where & when explanation is called for. Police are just a somewhat violent subspecies, no matter your state of mind they could still help you ensure your children's safety.

If the kids are in care it shouldn't be too hard to get them back. She's their Mom after all. It's good that you can stand up for them. Dealing with bureaucrats can be like hitting one brick wall after another. At this point, though, she must be freaking out not knowing where her kids are. If she thinks he's been arrested she should call the local authorities and track him down.

False alarm, they didn't arrest him nor take the kids. but apparently my son got into trouble with his siblings, most every time they get together they end up getting CPS called on them. I need to talk to that man about his children. and I need to talk to my son because he knows when he is doing something wrong because he tries to hide it from me.

Oh no, the cops and CPS wants to talk my kid and his mother tonight, well, there goes my anxieties, I will not let them corner her or my son and pull that gestapo crap on them nor give them a chance to nab my kid from her. so I guess I am going to have to stick my nose in the middle of it all. they do not like dealing with me because I wont let them pull any punches.

I've never dealt with CPS (to the best of my memory) though I know quite a lot about social work and overall family insanity, I'll sticky the thread in Firefox over here, glad to hear at least something was resolved!

I support a lot of the theories regarding metabolic health in correlation with ASD symptoms/'drag coefficient'... You can message me with 'PM' if you're curious about the practices derived from my experiences there.
