Hello everyone,

Everytime there occurs a change in my daily routine like playing a video games, I tend to because secretly depressed and suicidal. I do not know why but it always happens after a change, as long as it interferes with my life on a minimal level I will strongly dislike it. Example: I'm playing a game with 10 races. I implement 2 races automatically in to the game making it 12 races. After that change I become depressed even though it's interference is minimal.

Does this happen to you can is this considered to be a general dislike of changes? I usually become irritated by the changes in the physical life (not virtual reality) for example if the road I usually took would to be crowded or removed.

Asperger's Association
of New England: Executive Function Disorder in Children with Asperger Syndrome
http://www.aane.org/asperger_resources/ ... order.html

"Russell Barkley notes that executive functions are ?critical to playing, organizing and carrying out complex human behavior over long periods of time.? Many children with AS have increased difficulties in everyday life due to low executive functioning (Lester,2006). They may have:

Slower processing speed
Confusion when choosing from multiple options.
Difficulty with reciprocal behavior.
Difficulty generalizing information from one situation to the next.
Black and white thinking that limits their ability to see subtlety or degree.
Lack of a systematic approach to keeping order in their daily lives.
These factors increase their anxiety when dealing with change. Without closure, they often cannot achieve peace of mind and this can result in overload, meltdowns, and shutdowns."

"People with EFD are often misperceived as lazy, unmotivated, stubborn or uncooperative. Usually, nothing could be further from the truth. They are working as hard as they can to keep pace with the demands in their lives."
The article goes on to describe ways of dealing with this issue.

Besides Aspergers there are other reasons for Executive Functioning problems

As these issues are causing you depression and suicidal thoughts you need to seek professional help as soon as possible
