You know you're an Aspie if you want to scream at anyone who posts in this thread thinking that 'your' is the proper contraction for 'you are'... :P

... if you had no fear of the dark, no fear of the monsters under your bed, no fear of the boogeyman, yet you were terrified of what is really a harmless object (like a radiator, a chandelier (that's mine), the phone, a lamp, etc.).

... if you know in what years the Illinois Central Railroad used the logo shown in my avatar (this one may or may not apply).

You get kicked out of school, and you have the school system screw up your life, yet you still keep a track of that school district's bus fleet.

All true!

Can you think of any "You Might be and Aspie" jokes to add, Hale_bopp?

If you're mind is racing along at greater speeds than those around you.

If you are a mathematical prodigy.

If you can actually be bothered to work out 4096 to the power of 4.

My favourite one was the one about looking at the sun. I mean, I really feel like peoples eyes burn into my brain. Some worse than others.

uh.. you might be an aspie if you would rather be with the cat than a person?

(sometimes true for me, but I don't know about other people.)

You might be an Aspie if you feel the need to point out that the original phrase was not "you're an Aspie" at all. :P

I used to go ballistic when I saw this, but now I get more upset when people use "it's" instead of "its".

Well, I think keeping track of a school district's bus fleet is aspie-ish, no?

You might be an Aspie if you actually envy those people who take the train every day to work. :)

Hah, yes! Or wonder how people manage to actually survive heavy traffic without going into a nervous breakdown before they even get anywhere near the office...

You might be an Aspie if you have to go into some doctor's office every time you do get to use said train. :(

Why are you all listening to it only now just because it was on sodding Comic Relief? Imbeciles!! !! !! !! ! Has a single solitary one of you ever had anything even remotely resembling an original thought??????

I was at the grocery store with my son when an adult I didn't know said hi to him and waved. He smiled back so I figued he knew her. Turns out she is the school librarian.

He's never run into a class mate. At least as far as I know.

:P

I'm BeeBee's son. She made up the part about me meeting the school librarain but I wouldn't doubt it would happen that way. But the class mate thing is right.

And the clothes one, that's completely true.
