When people notice I'm different they always treat me differently. I guess that makes sense, but I really hate when that happens. Mainly because it makes interactions less fun for me and it makes me pay attention to my differences. I want my friends to make me feel happy and normal.
I do get treated differently but that's not really a negative thing for me. it's more on my terms that I'm treated differently.
Like for instance the people who I work with know by now that I like to spend my breaks in my own company and if I want to join in then I do it on my own terms.
generally people just leave me to my own devices until I come round on my own.
I know that I am accepted and if I want to socialise then I can, but they just know that I'm on another wavelength.
There are some people who are quite attentive towards me as well, and they probably know me more than I think they do.
What you have to realise is, that everyone is different and so everyone will be different towards you.
People who treat you in a negative way because of who you are just aren't worth knowing anyway.
