Are you familiar with Woolwich, Eltham, Shooter's Hill, Blackheath? My wife's son used to live in Shooter's Hill. I like Blackheath's heath.
Are you allowed to use your PECS card in your college?
A good friend of mine goes to a college called Shooters Hill, apart from that I'm clueless of that area. In fact, recognising street names and areas is a weak point of mine. It's one of the main reasons why I always get lost; even on my own street.
I do take them in college and use the emotions one a lot but since 90% of my time is at a computer and I also have an LSA (learning support assistant) with me at all times, I don't really have the need to use the others.
Unless of course I go on a trip, then I take ALL of them because going to a new place is very stressful and the PECS cards are something akin to a comfort blanket for me as well as a way to communicate.
