I work in a call center monitoring agents, the queues, service level, and adherence. I also make changes to the kinds of calls agents get as requested and to their schedules.

A friend of mine is a shift manager for a large call center. Most of its call representatives work about four hours a day (some work more). It can be relentlessly stressful, but not impossible if the representatives pace themselves. Then, it gets easy.

That is hard work - congrats on being able to do that job. I don't think I could do it.

That sounds like my cashiering position. I try to have shifts that are no longer than 5.5 hours (I prefer 4).

I am ALWAYS exhausted when I'm done. You are doing very well. :)

Well, with a lack of spoons, I called out today. Sigh.

Don't worry - there will be better days. Don't be afraid to saddle up and try again tomorrow.

Take care.

I feel foggy again, but somewhat better after eating a Caesar salad and some ramen. I gotta go to work today!

I just hope I'm not tired again after only 4 hours.

I'm supposed to be trying to head back to working full-time again, but I don't see how I can manage.

After eating some Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, too, and getting some water and taking my day meds, I feel pretty good and ready to go! :D

Gotta leave in a little less than 10 minutes now.

There was a lot of work to do after arriving.

Now my vision is blurrier than normal. :(

I had some drama at work with the bathrooms, and after 2 hours I had it. At least I went in and tried, though.
