What is a golf cart rodeo? What do you do?

You try not to get stuck between two walls the way that Austin Powers did.

That sounds interesting. I wish I lived close enough to attend. :)

Where is AutHaven held and is there anything like that close to Chicago?

Me too.

We should start some Canadian versions. Maybe Vicki would help with figuring out how?

AutHaven is in Colorado. No idea about anything close to Chicago.

Autistic golf cart rodeo. Two people in a golf cart. One, the driver, is blindfolded. The passenger gives instructions to the driver as they drive through an obstacle course. I still get my right and left mixed up [gimme a break, I'm not even sixty!] and so Bobby will touch the right or left arm with different intensity for the needed sharpness of the turn. And no, I do not have a drivers license.

Fun!

That's a very smart way to give directions. My mom and at least one of her brothers never learnt left from right. I thought there was a word for it and that I just couldn't remember it but maybe not.

I'd be interested in a Canadian one - blindfolded golf cart rodeo sounds like an abosolute blast! :D

I actually meant a Canadian version of AutHaven (I know you might already know that....I just can't tell), but an autistic golf cart rodeo could be a thing by itself, too!

So which venue have you selected - the one with the nude beach nearby or the other one you were looking at?

We have chosen the nudist resort in Colorado again,[ no beach, beautiful mountains] mostly because of both my husband and me both having serious health issues. Next years is the third week in March, Friday the 20th until Tuesday the 24th. That is one additional night, making it 4 nights. cost is down to $150 per person, but there will be partial and full scholarships availlable.
