Mr. Alexander Plank has given us permission to recruit individuals who self-identify as having Asperger's Syndrome or being on the Autism spectrum to participate in a research survey about what is called the "Intentionality Bias". Participation is completely voluntary and involves taking a survey that asks questions about religion, personality styles, relationships with other people, as well as sections that ask you to identify pictures and sentences based on context.

If you are interested in participating in this study Please feel free to private message me for a link to the survey.

Thank you for your consideration.

By "self-identify," do you mean "accept this as a part of yourself," or are you looking specifically for people who are self-diagnosed?

Suspicious activity...

So is this another way to bash, challenge, ridicule or otherwise give a hard time to people who aren't yet in the elite club of "officially diagnosed?

Keep in mind that at one point in life, everyone NOW diagnosed was once not yet diagnosed, and had to be in a status of either self-suspecting (my preferred term) or someone else suspecting. Everyone being a snob about the undiagnosed was once there themselves, once.

.

I don't think that's suspicious. Both posts are about the survey, and her profile says she's not on the spectrum. So she's here to get participants. What's suspicious about that?

I think she doesn't know much about people on the spectrum, though; making us PM her for a link is going to seriously skew her results, because so many of us who would participate otherwise will not be comfortable PMing for a link.

I don't get it, is there some sort of impediment to posting the link directly?

havent got a clue what the title means, the post doesnt explain the survey well,it needs better explanation, like for example who its for, what its finding out,and what Intentionality Bias means.

the thing am a bit suspicious about is the fact OP managed to get a reply from alex,he is rarely a contributor here now and never answers any members or even the moderators about getting the site fixed so why is he going to answer a new member who is only here to survey us? :?

Well, I just took a glance at her profile, and she hasn't logged on since she posted this, so I think we just have to wait for her to come back on and read our questions.

I don't see a danger either. I was joking.
Still, it could be a trap!

It's a genuine survey conducted by Boston University. I took it a couple of weeks ago, and it is probably closed by now.

Lol, no, you're just not showing implicit bias to infer intention (intentionality bias).

This is a good example of intentionality bias.
