I am still figuring out, what is what, and I am beginning to see, that slow processing is a reality for me as well.
How about during stress?
I am very easily stressed, and very often I feel "dazed" during stress. I often can´t handle things, when stressed, and after such a dazed moment, I feel quite confused.
It is like having been through a movie with very few pictures per sec. I only partly remember my actions.
Last time, under extreme inner stress, I was in the kitchen trying to eat an open sandwich in a rush. My hands were trembling, I couldn´t handle my food and it ended in an absurd fight with a sandwich, that seemed to have its own life. Well, at last I got it! At the same time, I unconciously rocked from one foot to the other.
I definitely didn´t feel normal, when this behavior became clear to me.
Question:I wonder if that kind of confused moments with "too few pictures per sec" is due to partial processing during stress? A series of short moments of processing. Since I remember later, I must have registered everything or most.
I was fired after a moment like that; no stimming, only confusion. My coordination and sense of continuity simply went and I made a mess of everything. Boss very unhappy.
Does it ring a bell, anyone? Do NT´s experience the same?
