What college scholarships are out there for people with AS/high-functioning ASD? A quick Google search revealed one so far, but I wanna know if there's any prominent ones people have applied for and possibly received.

I don't think there are scholarships specifically for ASD.

You may want to look at the college websites for schools you are interested in. Go to their admissions page and they should tell you what factors they hold into consideration other than SAT and GPA. I've seen "overcoming or successfully dealing with a disability" as one of those things they look favorably upon. If you can write a college essay on this topic without necessarily using it as a "poor me" card, maybe the admissions committee can make a recommendation to the financial aid office to give or raise your scholarship amount.

You can also look up outside scholarships and foundations that grant scholarships. They may not be for people with ASD, but you often times have to write an essay like you do for college. You may want to touch upon that if the applications ask about personal struggles.

While this may sound counterintuitive to a lot of people, apply to private colleges. Often times they have large endowments and most students receive some form of scholarship. Even if you do have to take out loans, it could very well be cheaper than a state university. Unless the state university is very good, like UT Austin.

Hope this helps.
