Is the probability of me being in the Autistic Spectrum low?

During my childhood I have always been seen as the "happy" child, the one that is utterly nice and whom never dares to hurt a insect. But in my entire childhood I really never was happy, I was just shy and I respected other people. Also my emotions were quite shallow, I never cared for others because of my incapability (weak emotions).

I also had very few friends whom I parcipitated in activities, like riding bikes. Not communicating, unless playing games and I was bad at communicating (prolly shyness and not sure what to say), but otherwise I THINK that I did get social cues, at least a few of them of the many forms.

During my teenage years, for some reason I started to get sensory issues. Not sure how. It feels as if I suddenly got Autism, or that it never was "activated". Stimming was also something I got now, I discovered a way of relaxing my for example walking in circles and making rapid movements with my foot/leg.

So what do you think? Is the probability low? Not asking on whether I am Autistic or not, just need opinions so that I can leave this all together as it bothers me. I'm also getting help from a psychologist, but it's quite slow.

You might try some online Autism quizzes - They are not by any mean definitive - But they might give you some idea.

Here is one of the more credible ones:

http://aspietests.org/raads/index.php

here is another one:

http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php

And here is another:

http://aspietests.org/eq/index.php

If I may quote something from one of the websites: This this quiz does NOT replace the examination and diagnosis that should ONLY be made by a trained medical/mental health professional. It is for informational purposes only. Ergo, if you believe that you have Asperger?s, or your quiz results point toward that possibility, it is your responsibility ? to yourself, as well as those close to you ? to seek the guidance and expertise of a medical/mental health professional."

Can't tell; not enough info. Sensory issues and stimming can get worse with age in an autistic person, but it takes more than those two symptoms to be considered autistic.

I generally have all of the symptoms, but I'm uncertain on whether I had them as a child, which is the problem. I have mild forms of stimming, but non as a child, I would probably seem like a normal child back then.

Also the AS quizzes indicates that I probably do have it.

You're 140 years old, that's way too late to get Autism cuz you prolly didn't get immunizations as a kid, and nobody knew about gluten, so that couldn't do it.

You prolly don't know what to say to people because you're out of your age group, and these kids nowadays (those 80 year olds!!) are soooo weird!

=)

Can you ask someone who watched you grow up?

Well my mother said I was very shy and a nice person, other wise I don't think there were any obvious traits she could see, but I could feel them.

I guess i will ask for more information :)
