I did gymnastics for a little while when I was a kid....my mom loved the fact that I could do somersaults, and was always encouraging me to do them using sofa cushions, even when I didn't feel like it (it was scary getting started, and it kind of hurt). Then I was enrolled in a gymnastics class for little kids later on. I remember taking a pair of tiny pink rubber lifting weights with me, even though I never used them there - I loved those weights because they were pink and like the ones my dad had, only much smaller and...well, pink.
I loved going on the big trampolines at the gymnastics center. I also remember once when I brought my plushie of Chomper from The Land Before Time with me, and left him in my cubby. When it was time to go home, I saw another Chomper on top of the cubbies, and was like, "How'd he get up there?" I reached for him, and my mom said, "No, Coupe, that's HER Chomper" gesturing towards a little girl standing next to me. I looked and saw my Chomper still in his cubby, and I think afterwards that particular girl and I were on somewhat friendly terms, more or less due to the fact that we both liked Land Before Time and had the same plushie. xD That's pretty much all I remember about doing gymnastics as a kid.
