"Two out of three psychologists agree [gamerdad] is autistic"

Back story: I went to a specialist in another city for ADOS testing. Got a positive diagnosis, but the report was full of errors and inconsistencies. Went to a general therapist in my city for therapy and he rejected the diagnosis on the basis that I'm "too high functioning". Just recently started with another therapist (this time a specialist again). She agrees with the positive diagnosis, but also agrees that the original report was a bit crap.

I finally feel like I'm ready to move past this whole diagnosis business.

Hehe. Yeah, adding some time since your diagnoses will give you an appreciation of what is accurate and what isn't.

Diagnosis is subjective. There's this huge pool of symptoms and the person who diagnoses you tries to figure out what they think your major ones are. Then they take and give you a label that best suits what they observe.
