Now that I've been back on Risperdal for a few days, I find that the amount of times I need to stim is a lot less. However, because I am bored at home all day long with just my mother, who sleeps and watches soap operas, as well as plays her game on the iPad, I am just sitting around on Tumblr and reading fanfiction all day even more.

I tried stimming and listening to music on purpose, but I stop after 1/2 a song. I even went on Webkinz and Neopets due to boredom. I wanted to make some gifsets and fanart but I do not know how. I want to know what would be good to do instead of stimming.

What do you mean by stimming? I thought that was what you do when you're bored.

It keeps me entertained, I'll grant that. :D

Go to the library and take out these things called "books"

I guess I should have just looked it up first. For all who don't know:

"From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Self-stimulatory behavior, also known as stimming[1] and self-stimulation,[2] is the repetition of physical movements, sounds, or repetitive movement of objects common in individuals with developmental disabilities, but most prevalent in people with autistic spectrum disorders.[2][3] It is considered a way which people with autism calm and stimulate themselves.[2] Therapists view this behavior as a protective response to being overly sensitive to stimuli, with which the individual blocks less predictable environmental stimuli.[4] Sensory processing disorder is also given as a reason by some therapists for the condition.[4] Another theory is that stimming is a way to relieve anxiety, and other emotions.[5]

Common stimming behaviors (sometimes called stims[6]) include: hand flapping, rocking, head banging, repeating noises or words, snapping fingers, spinning objects, etc.[7][8] Stimming is almost always a symptom of autism, but it is also regarded as part of some non-autistic individuals' behavioral patterns.[9] The biggest difference between autistic and non-autistic stimming is the type of stim and the quantity of stimming.[9]"

Sounds kind of like what I and others do when we get bad akathesia from antipsychotics. Especially the rocking (in a rocking chair preferably). Does it such for you guys, or does it feel good? I only did it when I felt EXTREMELY horrible from taking Geodon.
