I'm very ticklish/sensitive down the right side of my body. It's more prominent around my abdomen. It's so bad that I can't even touch myself there without fitting out in spasms lol anyone touch me where it's sensitive and I have a knee jerk reaction where my arm flings out to hit whoever did it. It's a nightmare for docs/nurses ect.

Do you think this is a sensory thing... Or something else entirely? I've always had it and it's never gotten worse or better with age. I've even tried to practice getting used to being touched so it doesn't bother me, but I've not been able to accomplish that.

Sounds like a sensory thing. Hypersensitivity isn't just about pain

I have the same issue. It definitely might be a sensory thing, I agree.
