OMG, we have a mental condition, it does not make us better than 'everyone' else...so shut up? but then much of the time people cannot shut up and quit expressing ignorance.

Humans like to cling to their labels, I think, and define themselves by it.
I think some, come to define themselves too much by the labels, to the point it becomes their sole sense of self.
But that is just my opinion, and opinions are like a**holes...everyone has one.

Asperger's is simply a differently wired brain that is not always very compatible with the way society is wired to run.
In the distant past, there was no label for it...you just got on with it, and were perhaps viewed as somewhat eccentric, different or/and socially inept. In a way, I am not sure that was not better.
