It's funny how, even without the deficits in non-verbal communication & literal thinking, that a person can have almost the same troubles in life.
By this I mean:
-Fear of rejection.
-Problems with loneliness.
-Social withdrawal.
-Problems with attention.
-Low self-esteem.
-Over analysing social performance.
-Inappropriate behaviour (more prominent in childhood).
-Aggravating teachers & peers alike in childhood.
-A tendency to hyperfocus on things that give a 'buzz'.
-Hopelessness in social conversations.
In other words: different causes, same outcome.
Maybe ADD really is like the 'sister' version of Aspergers.
