I just looked it up: Mauritius is island 1200 mi off east coast of Africa, it was the only habitat of the dodo bird, seems like a good place to rule with an iron paw.

I don't know if it's useful but it certainly is interesting.

The furthest cities from where I am are mostly the cities in the US and Canada. I live in the Perth metropolitan area in Western Australia.

Shouldn't this be in the Random Discussion sub-forum?

Port-aux-Français, French Southern and Antarctic Lands, apparently somewhere on the "Kerguelen Islands" in the Southern hemisphere. I'd never heard of such a place.
